Lyoto Machida: Lyoto is the real deal. He has shown complete domination of the division with an utter stomping of Rashad Evans. He has all the tools to win each fight and all the heart to go the distance.
Mauricio Rua: Shogun was a dominant figure in Pride, but since his entry into the UFC has given the crowd very little to cheer about. His win over Liddell was probably his biggest feat since entering the Octagon to date, but he does have incredible skills.
Fight Analysis: The first round will show each fighter feeling each other out, initially, but I expect Rua to come out quick and aggressive. I don't believe he will give Machida anything to worry about, but he will try to use those knees early. Machida will weather the early storm of Rua, tire him out, and it will (in the end) be a TKO.
Cain Velasquez: Cain has been completely dominant (much like Machida) since entering the Octagon. He is quick for his size and non-stop action.
Ben Rothwell: Rothwell is an experienced grappler with tons of experience. While he may look a bit like a 'dough boy', he is a dangerous opponent.
Fight Analysis: This fight will take place on the ground for the majority of the length of time this fight will last. Look to Velasquez to get a bit frustrated with Rothwell's ground game before finally overcoming Ben with quickness and ground and pound.
