Rich Clementi Versus Sam Stout

Rich Clementi is an EXCELLENT ground gamer and has shown that he has enough stand up ability to hold off a good striker until submission time during his last fight against Guillard. Rich looks better and better on each fight and I believe he is looking for this fight to solidify his increasing reputation.

Sam Stout is one of the best strikers out there with a heavy set of hands that can hang with the best of them. He has an excellent chin and is nearly impossible to knock out. His heart is as big as his hands are heavy… Sam is not a fighter that gives up.

FIGHT ANALYSIS: Sam Stout is going to do his best to keep this fight standing. That is the only place where he has the ability to end the fight. Rich is no newbie to getting hit with hard fists, though, and will bide his time until the opening is there for a quick takedown. Rich will get that takedown and end this fight in quick fashion. In the end… CLEMENTI BY TKO.

I think you may have messed up on this one. Clementi by TKO? I don’t think so. Did you mean to say TKO or submission? From the wording I would say you meant submission.

BTW – Clementi by submission is my take on this one.

Clementi took this one by decision. And, yes, I meant to say by submission – not TKO :) However, it WAS decision, not submission.

Fight Analysis: Stout, a canadian favorite being from Ontario escaped a choke in the first round and the crowd went wild. Clementi took Stout to the ground and pounded him there throughout the first and second round. The third round saw Stout block takedowns and look a little better, but it was too little too late.
