Fight Analysis: While there has been a lot of talk around this matchup (mostly by Sonnen), this is one that (on the surface) seems easy to predict. Sonnen will keep Silva off balance (or at least try to) in the first round (early part of the round) and then when Silva finds his reach, he will put out some minor punishment. As Chael keeps attempting to take Silva down, he will get caught with some blows and that will be the end of the story here.

Not the fight I expected by a long shot until the final round. It seemed that Silva didn’t even want to fight until the end. Then he turned it up a notch and seemed more like the guy we expected. Sonnen fought a great fight and I wish he would have won, but …
