FIGHT ANALYSIS: We believe that Tibau will try to keep Stevenson at bay with his reach advantage while finding a way to get the takedown. However, Stevenson will rush Tibau and get the first takedown in this one. Stevenson is a powerful fighter and, we believe, will be on top most of the fight. This fight will go all the way with no submissions and the victor will be the one who punnishes the other more on the ground. STEVENSON BY DECISION

Our second pick for UFC 86 is Cote vs Almeida and is not quite the fight we would have loved to see. While the fight may be interesting, it will likely be an easy fight for one of these 2 guys.

Patrick Cote is a well rounded fighter with moderate BJJ skills and decent hands. Almeida is a BJJ expert with heavy leg kicks and moderate striking ability.

FIGHT ANALYSIS: This is an easy call for us… Cote will try to keep this fight standing (even though he has been talking up his BJJ skills). He will attempt to tire out Almeida to keep that submission in check. Almeida will throw kick and punch until there is an opening for a takedown.
