Our second pick should be a lot less controversial than the first (where we have picked Serra to, once again, upset GSP). This is the Charles McCarthy versus Michael Bisping fight and looks to us to be more of a ’sure thing’ to spark the interest of the UK fans to us. Dana White really needs to cater to the UFC fans instead of setting up shitty fights like this, but….. Here is our analysis:

Charles McCarthy is from The Ultimate Fighter season 4 and really hasn’t done a whole lot. He has submission skills, but not extremely impressive skills in that arena and while his hands can be heavy, they are not top notch. IMO, he is an average fighter that really has to prove himself.

Michael Bisping is from the Ultimate Fighter season 3 and has had several fights since that point. He has fought those with great ground games and those with heavy hands. Bisping is a stand up fighter and has good ability when keeping the fight standing.

FIGHT ANALYSIS: Charles McCarthy DOES have something to prove. He must prove that he belongs in the UFC. The only way he will stay in the UFC is to beat Bisping. Bisping, however, has a much better stand up game and has fought guys with a much better ground game than McCarthy. In my opinion, there is no chance McCarthy will have the ability to take Bisping to the ground and submit him (which, in reality, is his only chance at winning this one). So…. BISPING BY TKO.
