Fight Analysis: This is an interesting matchup. Stevenson is definitely the more well-rounded fighter here, but Danzig is no slouch either. In the past I would have said that Stevenson’s striking is little to worry about. However – his more recent fights have proven that his skills standing have become much more crisp. Danzig is still the better striker, but on the ground Stevenson should be able to control this fight fairly easily. I see Mac doing well in the first round and even, possibly winning the round. However, I see round 2 and 3 going the way of Stevenson and with a fairly worn out Danzig, Stevenson will choke him out in the 3rd.

Our fourth pick is for the Marc Bocek versus Mac Danzig fight and this one we feel is a little more worrisome than a few of the others. This could be a long drawn out fight with Bocek on top or a quick and perfectly executed win by Danzig.

Marc Bocek is a ground-game fighter with a compliment of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling skills.  He has been training with Team Quest (Henderson’s group) and may come to this fight with a few new tricks in his bad.

Mac Danzig is a very experienced (although in different arenas than the UFC) fighter with excellent striking skills, top notch defense, and the abiliy to out-think most of his opponents.

FIGHT ANALYSIS: Marc Bocek will look to shoot in on Danzig for a takedown and work him over with wrestling and BJJ.  Mac Danzig has seen this type of fighter before and knows how to defend against it.  Mac is also a very tightly controlled fighter and will likely not allow Bocek an opening for the takedown.  Look for Danzig to keep Bocek from taking him to the ground with a series of well-timed, accurate strikes.  In the end… DANZIG BY TKO.
