UFC Fight Night - Swick vs Burkman
Tonight’s the night! And all the Fight Night Betting Odds are in! Choose the right sportsbook with the best odds for YOUR bet!
We have a quick round-up of our favorites… Since their are only lines on 3 of the fights, that is all we really care about
So, with that said, let’s hit the predictions:
Prediction #1: Mike Swick VS Josh Burkman
Mike Swick is a fighter with a ton of different disciplines from tae-kwon-do to Muay Thai, to Jui Jitsu. He is a well-rounded fighter coming off a loss in April to Okami. Josh Burkman is a tough fighter with a lot of strength and wrestling ability (although he prefers to just punch out his opponents).
While Josh Burkman is a tough son of a bitch, I see the taller Mike Swick sending him to the floor with some knees to the head and submitting him while he is still in pain: SWICK BY SUBISSION
Prediction #2: Patrick Cote VS Drew McFedries
Patrick Cote has good submission skills along with enough power to knock out his opponents. Drew McFedries has a TON of knockout power and prefers to stand on his feet and trade blows.
This is a tough one to call, actually… On the surface, Drew has some amazing power and athleticism. However, Cote has excellent submission skills which is lacking in McFedries. Look for Cote to take it to the ground: COTE BY SUBISSION
Prediction #3: Alvin Robinson VS Nate Diaz
Alvin Robinson has both wrestling and Jui-Jitsu (Royce Gracie variety) skills. Nate Diaz has both heavy hands and a good Jui Jitsu background.
This is another tough call… If Alvin gets Diaz on the ground in a good position, he could end it. However, I see Nate using his ground defense to keep the fight standing where his hands are powerful DIAZ BY TKO

I think Burkman will actually beat Swick in this one. He is hungry and ready to brawl. While Swick is a more well rounded fighter, Burkman is tough.
Cote and McFedries will just come to a knockout and I think McFedries is going to catch Patrick Cote on this one.
Nate Diaz takes the last of those three for sure.

Seriously, Swick is winning. Burkman may be tough, but he’s no match for a much better fighter. I think this will end much earlier than most people do. Cote is winning this one, he always surprises. I think it will come off his heavy, precise hands though instead of a submission. Diaz wins the last fight easily, but it won’t be in the first round.. more like the second when Diaz’s conditioning outweights Robinson’s and he catches him with a punch to drop him to the floow - then finishes it and gets pulled offf.

I think that Swick will definitely win on this one! He is a tough sonofabitch and a well-rounded fighter to boot. He has gotten even better and will no doubt take Burkman for a ride.
Cote will defitely take out McFedries also since Cote is the more well-rounded fighter and it is ALWAYS difficult to bet against him
McFedries is strong and quick, but just no match for Cote at this point.
As far as Nate Diaz and Alvin Robinson are concerned, there is just no doubt (in anyone’s mind according to the lines) that Nate Diaz will pull this one off. He is a way better fighter than Robinson. Robinson’s only possibility is to get a lucky punch in, IMO.

Well, we won all our bets!!!!!! So, that was awesome
The fights didn’t go exactly as we suggested they might… i.e., We had Swick winning by submission instead of by decision, we had Cote by submission instead of TKO, and Diaz with submission instead of TKO.
All in all, though, a good night of betting for us
Hope you guys went with our predictions this time around!
